NSGDATACOM’S
NORMAL THROUGH RJ45 PATCH PANEL CHOSEN BY U.S. MILITARY FOR USE IN
DEPLOYABLE SYSTEMS
CHANTILLY, VA — October 18, 2007 — NSGDatacom,
a provider of telecommunications solutions for military, carrier
and enterprise applications, today announced that its MKIII modular
RJ45 Patch Panel system has been chosen by the U.S. military for
use in deployable systems in the Middle East.
The MKIII modular patch panel system is designed to allow rapid
changes to mission critical communications in demanding field applications.
The system provides normal through connections that are automatically
redirected upon insertion of patch cords. Field replaceable modules
support Standard Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, T1/E1 or other RJ45-based
serial voice and data connections.
“The high density MKIII patch panel system allows a clean
installation inside the tight confines of mobile units using modules
with normal through connections”, said Rich Yalen, CEO, NSGDatacom.
“Direct access to all equipment is provided on front panel
patching ports. Any change from standard configuration is immediately
visible by the presence of patch cords, which can be quickly removed
to revert back to the standard configuration.”
The patch panel was designed and manufactured by NSGDatacom. The
NSGDatacom design was selected because it provides unique functionality
(patent pending) required for certain mobile deployable military
applications.
This Modular Patching Panel is an extension of our reliable and
flexible Dynetcom family of patching and switching products that
have been in use for over 40 years in military and commercial applications.
