Chantilly, VA — November 15, 2005 — NSGDatacom announces the newest development in the Dynetcom product line, the Mark III Dynapatch® CAT 5 Normal-Through RJ45 Patch Panel which brings a new standard of reliability and flexibility to Ethernet 10/100 twisted-pair installations.

The panel is available with 110-type punch down blocks or RJ45 connectors on the rear to facilitate a clean installation, and two rows of RJ45 connectors on the front of the panel for patch cord connections. The panel also incorporates a unique patch cord trace capability. At the push of a button, activity LEDs at both ends of a patch cord turn from green to orange, making it easy to trace cross connections, particularly between multiple panels or when cables are neatly dressed.

Each CAT 5 Patch Panel supports 48 ports, which can be configured for 24 normal through circuits. Inserting a patch cord automatically disconnects the through circuit and routes through the patch cord. Each panel is also able to accept an optional power over Ethernet module (available in January 2006). The panel is easily field-upgradeable to provide power over Ethernet without the need for de-installing or re-cabling.
