NSGDatacom Announces New VoIP Product Targeted At Organizations Requiring Cost Effective, High Quality Voice For Their Communications

CHANTILLY, VA — March 30, 2004 — NSGDatacom (NSG) announced today the launch of the Netrix Network Exchange 2205A VoIP gateway product, the newest member of its industry leading 2200 product family.

The 2205A product is targeted at organizations wanting to realize the savings and efficiencies of a Voice over IP solution while maintaining toll quality voice. The 2205A uses patented voice compression techniques that ensure high quality voice over a variety of fixed-line, wireless, and satellite links.

NSG has taken the high quality cost effective voice technology that it previously developed and deployed for very large applications and now makes it available in the 2205A, a lower port density unit. The 2205A is a flexible product that has either four or eight analog interfaces for direct connection to telephones, fax machines, key systems, and PBXs, as well as one WAN port and two 10/100 Ethernet ports.

The 2200 product family is currently utilized and relied upon for many critical voice and data applications. NSG’s customers using this family of products include U.S. Military personnel stationed in the Middle East, satellite providers, a major global package delivery company, major airports in China and many other enterprise, carrier, and government organizations.
