NSGDatacom Acquires Substantially All of the Advanced Switching Communications Assets

HERNDON, VA — July 8, 2002 — NSGDatacom (NSG) has purchased all of Advanced Switching Communications’ (ASC) product lines, product inventory and intellectual property, including its patent.

Richard Yalen, CEO of NSG said, “I am excited about adding ASC’s products to the NSG family of telecommunication equipment. The ASC access products are carrier-class, and complement our existing product family with virtually no overlap.”

Yalen added, “I want to assure ASC customers that we intend to continue to sell and support the ASC family of products.”
